OliCart Terms of Service

1. Overview

OliCart is a student marketplace that allows users with a valid .edu email to post listings, connect with other users, and arrange transactions.

OliCart does not process payments and is not a party to any transaction.

By using OliCart, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

  • You must have a valid .edu email address to use OliCart
  • You agree to provide accurate and truthful information

3. Platform Role (IMPORTANT)

OliCart is only a platform that connects users.

  • We do not handle payments
  • We do not facilitate delivery
  • We do not guarantee any transaction

All transactions are arranged independently between users.

4. Listings

Users are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate descriptions of items/services
  • Ensuring they have the right to sell what they list
  • Complying with all applicable laws

We reserve the right to remove listings at our discretion.

5. Transactions

All transactions:

  • Occur between users directly
  • Are arranged and executed independently
  • Are not guaranteed or insured by OliCart

OliCart is not responsible for any disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use OliCart to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Sell illegal items or services
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

7. Safety

We strongly encourage users to meet in public, well-lit campus locations and to bring a friend when completing transactions. OliCart is not responsible for any in-person interactions.

8. Advertising

Businesses and users may pay for featured listings, advertisements, or promotional placements on the platform. These will be displayed across OliCart.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms or is used in a manner we deem harmful to the community.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of OliCart after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
